Greetings! Thanks for dropping by, however you may have ended up here.
My name is Scott Campbell. This is my personal website, which has been around since May 2015. Explaining the name may help explain the purpose. Falling Into Incandescence is a phrase a former professor of mine used to describe what Pierre Teilhard de Chardin was attempting to encourage humanity to undertake. In brief, it is the idea that were we to let go and fall into our authentic selves we would become incandescent with the fire of truly being alive. I make no claims to authenticity or incandescence, though I strive for both. It is that striving in written form which I aim for with this site, in particular pursuing an integration of radical social politics, recovery, some spirituality, and translations. As well, I hope to encounter others who feel similarly.
If you’d like to get in touch, please leave a comment, send me an email at scott [at] fallingintoincandescence [dot] com, or connect with me on Mastodon.
Some may be interested in my qualifications. Sentience, self-reflection, and a commitment to collective liberation are the main ones. But if it matters, I have a BA and MA in Humanities and am currently a PhD student in Cultural Studies. My work (writings, translations, photos and videos) have appeared in outlets ranging from La Jornada and Al Jazeera to the Institute for Anarchist Studies and ROAR Magazine. I’ve contributed chapters to anthologies such as Rebellious Mourning: The Collective Work of Grief, Teaching Resistance: Radicals, Revolutionaries, and Cultural Subversives in the Classroom, Deciding for Ourselves: The Promise of Direct Democracy, and Constellations of Care: Anarcha-Feminism in Practice. I was also member of the collective which published the bilingual website El Enemigo Común and wrote and translated for It’s Going Down.

Hi Scott,
You had an excellent article on Marco Diodato and Branco Marinkovic, both criminal personalities from Bolivia, was hoping for more of these kind. Marinkovic is trying to make a political comeback in Bolivia, which is upsetting to say the least. This individual has proven ties to narcos and is most likely a money launderer for them.
Sincerely,
Peter Ecos
